A gorgeous former Marine with a tortured soul.
The beautiful, compassionate therapist living next door.
A meddlesome grandma determined to get them together.

From USA Today Bestselling Author Melanie Harlow comes an all new standalone romance that will make you believe in the redemptive power of love.

I was expecting a proposal on my birthday, and I got dumped instead.

How could I have been so clueless?

Grams knew exactly how to distract me.

The “cute boy next door” who’s been helping her with yard work clearly needs a little therapy. Who better to call than her newly single therapist granddaughter?

She even fakes dementia to get me to visit, and now that I’m here she’s doing everything in her power to throw us together.

Not that I’m complaining. Ryan is the sexiest man I’ve ever met–I mean the full package, from the chiseled jaw to the massive shoulders to the rippling abs. (And yes, his package is full, and he knows exactly how to deliver it.) He makes me want to get out of my head and follow my heart. He makes me want to take chances I never thought I’d take.

He also makes me want to take my clothes off. A lot.

But he’s moody and challenging–one minute he’s an open book, and the next he’s completely closed off. He holds me like he’ll never let go, but insists he wants to be alone.

Some wounds are so deep, only love can heal them.

How can I convince him to let me try?

review

Okay, I don’t know about you, but I am so obsessed with Melanie Harlow and everything she writes. Every time she release a book, I know I will be getting romance, fun banter, sizzling chemistry and a little heartbreak. Yet each plot is different and keeps me wanting more.

Only Love is no different.

Stella Devine is having a bad night. Though, that is probably an understatement. It’s her 33rd birthday and instead of getting a proposal, she gets dumped. Devastated, she decides to go visit her Grandmother, who is experiencing some health issues.

Or so her Grandma says.

While she’s there, she meets Ryan, the man who lives next door to her Grandma and often helps her with things around her house. Ryan is utterly attractive and even more complicated.

Ryan is an ex-marine, who is having trouble adjusting to life back home. He has walls up a mile high, and doesn’t let himself feel much of anything.

Yet from the second Stella and Ryan meet, there is just something between them, which even Ryan has trouble denying. It’s a instant connection, an easy but unlikely friendship and a nearly unattainable attraction.

Everything is right there for them, but Ryan doesn’t make it so easy. Sometimes he is darn right frustrating. Yet, the closer the two get, you see a softer side of him that is completely swoon worthy. Sigh.

Only You will seriously put you on an emotional roller-coaster. You’ll love it even when it makes you wanna scream, and after all the ups and downs you’ll have a smile on your face and want to do it again.

There is also little snippets from the Grandma that are equally adorable and hilarious.

This book can be read as a standalone, but it does give updates on Stella’s sisters, from Only You and Only Him– both those are incrediable reads as well!

What’s a campaign manager’s worst nightmare? A smooth-talking charmer who’s never met a scandal that he didn’t like.

When Emmanuelle Peroni’s father—and mayor of her town—asks her to help rehab Cooper Endicott’s image, she’s horrified. Cooper drives her crazy in every way possible. But he’s also her father’s protégé, and she can’t say no to him without him finding out the reason why: Cooper and her have a messy past. So Emmanuelle reluctantly launches her father’s grand plan to get this Casanova someone to settle down with and help him lose his lothario reputation.

Cooper Endicott wanted to run for Mayor, but he never wanted the drama that went with it. Now that he’s on the political hamster wheel, the other candidates are digging up everything from his past. Even though he’s doing all the right things, his colorful love life is the sticking point for many of the conservative voters. He wants to win, badly, and he knows that if he wants any chance of getting a vote from the female population, he needs to change his image. The only problem? The Left Side of Perfect

For better or for worse,’til death do us part . . .

The better captured me; she’s who stole my heart.
And made me realize I couldn’t live without this woman.
The worse of her took my breath away–kicked me when I was down and twisted me into a million knots.

When I first met her, I thought she was someone I would never see again.
The second time I ran into her, it was a random coincidence.
The third?
I didn’t know it at the time, but she was the girl I was going to marry.

But life isn’t always perfect. You have to take the better and the worse–even if it means giving her up, having her slip between your fingers, and letting her walk away.

I’m getting married.
This is forever, ’til death do us part.

The Right Side of Forever

In sickness and in health, to love and to cherish . . .

It sounds so simple, to love someone unconditionally.
To give them your heart.

So why is she slowly eating away at my soul with every unanswered phone call, every unread text, and every door left unopened?

She said yes, and yet, in order for her to be with me . . . I need to let her go.

review

Okay, in case you haven’t noticed, this is a double review. This will also be extremely spoiler free, so read on with ease. Also, if you haven’t read The Blue Line Series by Meghan Quinn, you might want to stop reading right now.

Good?

Good.

Meghan Quinn has created something so different, and so lovely with these little duet. It’s heartbreaking and gives you butterflys. It’s a complete roller-coaster ride that you’ll beg to go on again and again. It’s complicate and romantic.

I really liked Colby‘s character from The Blue Line Series, and I was glad he was getting his own books. Colby, who is a bit unlucky in love, finally wants his chance at a happily ever after. Will it be that easy?

No, of course not! 😛

There are ups and downs, twits and turns. When you think you know what’s going on, the unexpected pop’s up.

I will say, by the end this love story is just incredible. It delivers all the feels and all the swoons. The writing is addictive, and man oh man, do these books have some of the best character growth in them.

If you are looking for a sexy, swoony, emotional type of love story, I highly recommend this duet! It will break your heart and put it together in the best possible way!

My relationship with Hunter Delucia started backwards.

We met at a wedding—him sitting on the groom’s side, me sitting on the bride’s.  Stealing glances at each other throughout the night, there was no denying an intense, mutual attraction.

I caught the bouquet; he caught the garter.  Hunter held me tightly while we danced and suggested we explore the chemistry sparking between us.  His blunt, dirty mouth should’ve turned me off.  But for some crazy reason, it had the opposite effect on me.

We ended up back in my hotel room.  The next morning, I headed home to New York leaving him behind in California with the wrong number.

I thought about him often, but after my last relationship, I’d sworn off of charming, cocky, gorgeous-as-sin men. A year later, Hunter and I met again at the birth of our friends’ baby.  Our attraction hadn’t dulled one bit.  After a whirlwind trip, he demanded a real phone number this time.  So I left him with my mother’s—she could scare away any man with her talks of babies and marriage—and flew back home.

I’d thought it was funny, until the following week when he rang the bell at Mom’s house for Sunday night dinner.  The crazy, gorgeous man had won over my mother and taken an eight-week assignment in my city.  He proposed we spend that time screwing each other out of our systems.

Eight weeks of mind-blowing sex with no strings attached? What did I have to lose?

Nothing, I thought.

It’s just sex, not love.

But you know what they say about the best laid plans…
