Cindi Madsen hit the nail on the head in this beautiful, charming and hilarious book. Crazy for the Competition is delightful and semi quick read, but in no means is a simple book. Tackling the issue of giving in to what your heart wants, versus what everyone around you thinks you should do, is a subject that everyone can relate to. In a heart-filled lesson, we are reminded that sometimes we need to take a step back and examine what is really worth fighting for.

Crazy for the Competition is the story of Quinn Sakata and Heath Brantley, who are complete opposites in almost every aspect expect for one thing: They both have their eyes, and hearts, on a property in the town of Hope Springs. Despite having different reasons for wanting to own the property, (Quinn wants to turn it into a B&B, while Heath wants it to become a hunting lodge) it is something that is equally important to them.

Despite having an instant attraction towards each other, they know they have to put a wall up to protect their dreams. However, when a friendship starts between them, it becomes harder and harder to hold backs their feelings, but there is still the cold fact- Only one of them will win the property.

The Characters are well written and you will find yourself falling in love with them. Quinn is a strong female character throughout the book, but when she finally finds her voice, you want to applaud her. Heath is pretty swoon-worthy, and has a bigger heart than most people would expect. Both of their passions, morals, fears and wants shine through in this book, and truly touch the heart.

Crazy for the Competition will be released June 9th.
